Leash Reactive Dogs
Dogs are said to be “leash reactive” if they bark and lunge when out walking on a leash. This is most commonly directed at other dogs or people. However, some dogs are reactive to bikes, scooters, skateboards, cars, etc. Some are reactive to a combination of things.
This not only makes for an unpleasant walk but increases your dog’s overall stress level. It may also be a safety risk to another person or trigger a dog fight.
There is a lot of variability in the work needed to help a leash reactive dog. At your initial consultation, I will observe your dog, gather information and provide you with an assessment of which of my reactivity programs will be right for you and your dog.
